Rick Cramer to Speak on Basin Characterization at 2026 Western Groundwater Congress

Rick is a Senior Principal Geologist based in California with more than 30 years of experience focused on developing improved understandings of subsurface conditions to solve contaminated site problems and improve groundwater management programs. To advance the practice of groundwater characterization, remediation optimization, and groundwater basin management, Rick developed the Environmental Sequence Stratigraphy technology. 

The Western Groundwater Congress brings together groundwater professional working in the American West to advance science, discuss engineering solutions and policy, address on-the-ground implementation, and shape the future of groundwater stewardship.

The GRA of California supports resource management that protects and improves groundwater supply and quality through education and technical leadership.
