In case you missed it, new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows Nevada reported the largest increase in hourly pay of any state in the nation.
Over the past year, Nevada's average hourly wage increased by 6.37% to $32.55 - the highest rate of growth nationwide. The study noted that wage increases have become one of the most significant sources of financial relief for working families in 2025.
"We're pleased that Nevada reported the nation's largest increase in hourly wages over the past year, since this represents a meaningful step toward easing the cost of living in our state," said Governor Joe Lombardo. "Our administration remains focused on creating good-paying jobs, expanding access to attainable housing, and building an affordable Nevada where every family has the opportunity to thrive."
