I Will Keep Voting to End Trump’s War in Iran

Today I voted - again - for the Iran War Powers Resolution to reassert congressional oversight of our unhinged president.

Trump chose to start a war with Iran with no clear plan, no exit strategy, no clear objective, absolutely no approval from Congress, and against the will of the American people. It's already cost taxpayers $40 billion, driven extreme gas price hikes, and will likely cost us more - and Republicans are allowing this to happen.

Iranians have suffered for decades under an oppressive and deadly regime with a record of state-sponsored terror, but Trump's reckless approach has further destabilized the Middle East and cost lives, including U.S. service members.

Although Republicans refused to stop Trump's war today, I will continue doing everything in my power to bring forth another vote on a War Powers Resolution.
