HDOT Invites Community to Public Meeting on Kalaeloa Airport Noise Exposure Map Update

HONOLULU - The Hawai'i Department of Transportation (HDOT) invites members of the public to an informational meeting on the Kalaeloa Airport Noise Exposure Map (NEM) Update. The updated noise exposure maps will be used to evaluate land use compatibility and forecast aircraft noise exposure in and around the airport. The purpose of the public information meeting is to discuss the work plan and provide the community with an opportunity to comment and offer input for consideration during the development of the NEM.

Date: Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Honouliuli Middle School Cafeteria, 91-559 Maunakapu Street, 'Ewa Beach

Attendees requiring an auxiliary aid/service or accommodations such as an American Sign Language or language interpreter are asked to contact HDOT Airports Project Manager, Traci Lum at 808-838-8097, or [email protected]. Requests made as early as possible have a greater likelihood of being fulfilled. Upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats.

Presentation materials shared during the meeting will be posted on the Kalaeloa Airport Master Plan website (https://www.jrfmasterplan.com) after the conclusion of the meeting.
