Public Notice: Housing Preservation NoticePost Date:08/14/2025 7:54 AM Public Notice NOTICE TO PUBLIC OF AVAILABILITY OF STATEMENT OF ACTIVITY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CHARLES COUNTY, MARYLAND On or about September 4, 2025, the Charles County Department of Community Services intends to apply to the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, for a Housing Preservation Grant to assist income eligible homeowner occupants in the preservation of their homes in the eligible areas of Charles County. A Statement of Activity for Charles County's application has been prepared and will be available on our website at https://www.charlescountymd.gov from the date of this notice to September 3, 2025 and will also be available at the Charles County Department of Community Services by appointment from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The public may provide comments on the proposed Statement of Activity in writing to the Department of Community Services, 8190 Port Tobacco Road, Port Tobacco, Maryland 20677, Attention: Barbara Farmer, Community Development Supervisor or emailed to [email protected].
