A New Chapter for Congress

A New Chapter for Congress

November 05, 2026

Hello,

I'm ready to get to work.

And that work starts with lowering costs for working families, reversing devastating cuts to healthcare, defending our fundamental freedoms, and getting Congress back to the business of delivering real results for the American people.

It also means bringing real accountability back to Washington. For years, I've sounded the alarm on the Trump administration's corruption and abuses of power. With a new majority, we'll have the tools to turn up the heat. We're going to follow the money, uncover what Trump has been hiding from the American people, and make clear that no one in this administration is above the law.

Your voices matter, and I'm looking forward to bringing renewed energy to the fight for the North Coast. Your concerns will help shape the work ahead, from tackling the cost of living to protecting the places and freedoms we cherish.

I also want to extend my gratitude to everyone who stepped forward to run for office. Public service is no small undertaking, and our democracy is stronger when people are willing to put themselves forward and serve their communities.

As I head back to Washington, I want to hear from you: What would make the biggest difference for you and your community?

And don't forget, whether it's help working with a federal agency, or providing information about legislation and policy, my staff and I are here to help. If you need assistance, you can submit a Casework Authorization Form on my website.

To keep up with the work I am doing as your representative, subscribe to my newsletter, and follow me on Bluesky, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, Tiktok and Threads.

Thank you, and stay well,

Jared Huffman
Member of Congress
