In a special ceremony held on Friday, 5 December 2025, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in Athens, the internationally renowned maritime newspaper Lloyd's List, within the framework of the Greek Shipping Awards 2025, bestowed upon MINOAN LINESthe award for Passenger Line of the Year.

This honor stands among the most esteemed and prestigious international distinctions in the maritime sector. MINOAN LINES, with a consistent presence in the industry for over fifty years, was acknowledged by the awards committee as one of the leading, reliable, innovative, and socially responsible companies in Greek passenger shipping. This recognition pertains to: a)the company's exemplary services, ensuring passengers an outstanding travel experience; b) the introduction of Milos island as a year-round daily destination on the Piraeus-Heraklion route and vice versa; c)its recent strategic investment initiatives, including the construction of two new-generation vessels, designed to minimize environmental impact, which will be deployed on the Piraeus-Milos-Heraklion route and vice versa, as well as its active participation - through a joint venture with Grimaldi Euromed - in the operation and further development of the ports of Igoumenitsa and Heraklion; and d)its engagement in extensive social contribution initiatives.

The award was received, on behalf of MINOAN LINES'Board of Directors, by the company's ManagingDirector, Mr. Loukas Sigalas, who, in his address to the attendees, highlighted among other points:

The future of the company is exceptionally promising, with the addition of two new, owned, state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly passenger/ro-ro vessels, set to join its fleet, on the Piraeus-Milos-Heraklion route and vice versa in the coming years, alongside its strategic involvement in the management and development of the ports of Igoumenitsa and Heraklion".

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Paul Kyprianou, Board Member of Minoan Lines / Head of External Relations of Grimaldi Group, along with members of the Board of Directors of the respective ports, as well as close associates of the company, all honoring this significant occasion for MINOAN LINES with their presence
