Cherokee Casino Tahlequah welcomes Journey Tribute “Journey of a Lifetime” Aug. 29

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Cherokee Casino Tahlequah will welcome Journey tribute band Journey of a Lifetime at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Ancient Oak Tavern inside the casino.

Journey of a Lifetime brings the music of the legendary rock band Journey to life with a high-energy tribute show featuring the timeless hits that have defined generations of music fans.

The show features a nonstop lineup of Journey's biggest hits, including "Don't Stop Believin'," "Faithfully," "Open Arms," "Anyway You Want It," "Separate Ways," "Wheel in the Sky" and "Lights." Rather than deep cuts, Journey of a Lifetime focuses on the songs that made Journey one of the most celebrated rock bands of all time.

Drawing on more than 30 years of combined performance experience, the band recreates Journey's unmistakable sound with soaring vocals, rich harmonies and faithful renditions of the band's signature keyboard, guitar and drum arrangements.

Known for its powerful musicianship and engaging stage presence, Journey of a Lifetime delivers an authentic tribute that celebrates the music, memories and nostalgia associated with Journey's iconic catalog, allowing fans to relive the soundtrack of the '70s and '80s while capturing the electricity of the band's live performances.

The concert is free to those 21 and older.
