Dear Adelphi Community,

Our Public Safety and Facilities teams are closely monitoring a Blizzard Warning, which is expected to bring significant snow and winter weather conditions to our area between Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23.

The following changes are in effect for Sunday, February 22, to support campus safety and snow removal efforts:

On-Campus Parking Requirement

• By 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, all vehicles on our Garden City campus must be parked in an underground garage (Motamed Field or Nexus). This requirement supports our snow removal operations.

• Vehicles that are not moved to an underground garage may be subject to a summons and/or towing.

Service Changes for Sunday, February 22

• *Where to Eat? Please check Adelphi Dining Service Hours for the most current information before heading out.

  • The Market: 9:00 am-9:00 pm

    • Stations Available: Hot and cold food bar featuring homestyle meals, including pasta, Tu Taco, Grab & Go, assorted snacks and beverages

  • UC Stations: Grill and Pizza: 11:00am-7:00pm (All other stations closed)

  • Starbucks: 9:00 am-4:00 pm

  • Post Hall, Paws Cafe and Legends are closed.

• *Swirbul Library: Open Sunday from 10:00 am-8:00 pm.

• *Center for Recreation and Sport (CRS): Open Sunday from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm.

• Panther Express Shuttle Service: Service will conclude on Sunday, February 22 at 12 pm. See the current Panther Express shuttle schedule, regularly updated by the Department of Public Safety and Transportation.

* Important: Hours are subject to change based on the progression of the storm.
