Applications now open for the FY26 Statewide Veteran Service Provision Grant

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) is now accepting applications for the Statewide Veteran Service Provision Grant (SVSPG) for fiscal year 2026.

The MVAA is anticipating the availability of up to $4,041,500 in grant funding. The purpose of the FY26 SVSPG is to increase the number of veteran applications submitted for service-connected disability compensation, health care enrollment applications, as well as communicating information about the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund and United States Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA) health, financial, and memorial benefits, to all veterans and eligible family members with a focus on special populations.

Interested applicants MUST submit a Letter of Intent to Apply to be eligible to apply for FY26 SVSPG funding. The letter does not bind an organization to any legal contract or obligation to apply but must be submitted in order to establish an organization as an eligible grant recipient.

Letters of Intent must be received at MVAAGrants@michigan.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, April 18, 2025. Here is the full timeline for the SVSPG grant process.

We look forward to receiving your Letter of Intent to Apply. Feel free to send any questions to MVAAGrants@michigan.gov.
