Virtual launch of 'Tursunzoda Market' LLC in Tursunzoda city

On December 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, remotely opened "Tursunzoda Market" LLC, a large facility of economic and social importance, in Tursunzoda city.

The facility was built as part of the development works to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of domestic entrepreneurs.

12 buildings with a national and modern design and 10 canopies are built on a total area of 14 hectares of wasteland in accordance with the requirements of the time.

Based on the project specifications, the Tursunzoda Market consists of two construction phases, and the first phase was opened with 1,500 trading points and two parking lots.

After the launch of the first phase of the Tursunzoda Market, more than 1,670 residents of the city and surrounding districts were provided with permanent jobs. In order to build and put into operation the second phase of the market within a certain period of time, construction work is underway using high-quality domestic materials with the involvement of 170 local residents.

The construction of 20 cold stores with a capacity of hundreds of tons of fruits and vegetables, 26 pharmacies, a canteen, vehicle repair and washing points, and other forms of services for residents and visitors has been included in the design of the second phase of the market, and after the completion of the improvement works, the number of permanent jobs will reach 2,670.

Currently, the Tursunzoda Market Limited Liability Company operates modern centers selling clothes, food, fruits and vegetables, household goods, construction materials, banking service points, mobile companies, sewing workshops, and other services.

The market's cold stores, built next to the railway, contribute to the timely delivery of all kinds of goods and their export to foreign countries.

A hotel with 120 beds has been built inside the market. The rooms have comfortable beds and other necessary amenities.

As it turned out, the market widely uses solar panels, which is in line with current conditions in the country's energy sector and is a way to transition to "green" energy.

In order to maintain cleanliness and protect sellers' goods and products from fire, the Tursunzoda Market is provided with special transport.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, considered the initiative of entrepreneurs to build a magnificent modern facility, which in total will create nearly 3,000 new jobs, a sign of patriotism and contribution to improving the well-being of citizens.
