Lauren Miller Named OVC Freshman of the Week for the Fourth Time

SIUE freshman Lauren Miller has received Ohio Valley Conference women's basketball freshman of the week honors for the fourth time this season. She is now one of three athletes that have received this honor four times in one season.
Miller had a strong performance against both Lindenwood (Jan. 6) and Little Rock (Jan. 8), posting ten points in each game. Against the Lions she made 60 percent of her shots from the free throw line and 50 percent of her shots from three-point range. Later she made 71 percent of her shots from the field against the Trojans, while posting five assists and a steal.
The Cougars head to Martin, Tenn. to take on UT Martin Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
