Brian McCoy Named 2026 LEADing a Legacy Social Honoree

Brian McCoy, Board Chair and retired CEO of McCoy's Building Supply, was recently named a 2026 LEADing a Legacy Social Honoree by the Texas FFA Foundation. He was recognized alongside Bill Priefert, CEO of Priefert Manufacturing, at the fourth annual LEADing a Legacy Social, an event focused on raising support for leadership programs and scholarship opportunities for Texas FFA Members and Agricultural Science Teachers.

McCoy's Building Supply, which serves farm and ranch customers across the state, has supported Texas FFA for over 20 years and recently renewed a five-year commitment to the organization.

"At McCoy's, the privilege of serving our customers allows us to support the youth of our great state through FFA and the FFA Foundation," McCoy said.

Through their leadership and lasting investment in agriculture, both McCoy and Priefert have helped shape opportunities for the next generation of Texas FFA members. The McCoy's Building Supply headquarters has also hosted Texas FFA Foundation board meetings, and the company endowed the Agricultural Sales Placement Proficiency Award Scholarship.
