Senate President Pro Tempore Larry Walker and Middle Georgia Legislators to Host Listening Day in Perry

ATLANTA (August 26, 2026) -On Thursday, August 27, Senate President Pro Tempore Larry Walker III (R-Perry), Sen. Steven McNeel (R-Macon), Sen. David Lucas (D-Macon), Rep. Shaw Blackmon (R-Bonaire), Rep. Patty Stinson (D-Butler), Rep. Noel Williams Jr. (R-Cordele) and Rep. Anissa Jones (D-Macon) will host a Middle Georgia Listening Day in Perry.

The event will provide members of the Houston, Dooly, Pulaski and Wilcox County legislative delegations an opportunity to hear from invited community organizations and local leaders about priorities and issues they would like considered during the 2027 Legislative Session.
