Voting for Young Hopes 2025 now open!

The Young Hopes project, organised for the 13th time by Zavarovalnica Triglav and the Vse bo v redu Institute, has entered its decisive phase: the expert committee has selected 22 finalists - young athletes, para-athletes, artists and scientists. The general public will decide which of them will receive funds for the further development of their talent. Voting is open on the mladi-upi.si website until Sunday, 21 December, at 16:00.

Young people who inspire

Each of the 22 finalists selected for this year's Young Hopes project has their own story of hard work, sacrifice and an extraordinary desire to progress. This is also recognised by the Slovenian insurance company Zavarovalnica Triglav, which has already supported 155 talented young individuals in previous editions of the project. Some of them, such as Tim Gajser, Timi Zajc and Janja Garnbret, are now inspiring new generations of young talent with their achievements.

Voting that opens the doors to the future

"Young Hopes isn't just a project - it's a heartfelt commitment that we, as a society, will not overlook those who need our support the most. Now that the finalists have been announced, I invite everyone to vote for them, give them even greater recognition, and help them on their way to realising their dreams," said Tjaša Kolenc Filipčič, Director of the Vse bo v redu Institute, at the opening of the vote.

Jernej Damjan, a former ski jumper and a member of the committee that selected the finalists, also invited the general public to vote for the recipients of the funds: "With a very large number of applications this year, the committee had a difficult task deciding who to include among the finalists, as the level of this year's candidates is truly very high. Now it's your turn to support your favourites and cast your vote to help them make their dreams come true!"

The general public can vote for their favourites until 21 December

Voting for the recipients of the funds will take place until Sunday, 21 December 2025, at 16:00. During this time, voting is open every day on the website https://www.mladi-upi.si/, and everyone can cast one vote per day. By voting, individuals will help their favourites realise their dreams and enrich our society.
