M-77 lane closure for culvert repairs in Alger County starting July 27

NEWBERRY, Mich. ­- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be making repairs to an M-77 culvert north of the Alger/Schoolcraft county line, beginning July 27. The project is expected to be completed by August 26.

Work includes culvert rehabilitation and pavement restoration.

Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic on M-77 at the culvert with temporary traffic signals. A 10-foot width restriction will be in effect during the work.
