HNIP interns begin fall session

HNIP welcomed college students to the 2026 fall session with a virtual orientation. Selected interns are serving across federal agencies nationwide. Interns will serve for 15 weeks as part of the fall session.

A welcome was given by HNIP Executive Director Diana Vasquez, followed by a keynote address given by José Antonio Pérez, travel planning director at the Development Finance Corporation

HNIP fosters the professional development of aspiring students of all communities nationwide. Partnering with corporate and federal entities, HNIP offers internship opportunities that aim to prepare the next generation of leaders, bridging the gap between academics and real-world experience.

HNIP is accepting applications for the 2027 spring internship session. Internship dates are Jan. 4 - April 16, 2027 Applications will be accepted until Nov. 20, 2026. Information about eligibility and online applications is available here.
