February 10, 2026 at 1:53 pmThe Mesa City Council has called a Primary Election for July 21, 2026, for the purpose of electing Councilmembers in Districts 4, 5 and 6, whose terms will expire in January 2031.
Key Primary Election Dates are as follows:
•Candidate Filing Period - Feb. 21, 2026 - March 23, 2026
•First day to request an early ballot - April 19, 2026
•Voter registration cutoff - June 22, 2026
•Early voting begins - June 24, 2026
•Early voting in person ends - July 17, 2026
•PRIMARY ELECTION DAY - July 21, 2026
