Rolling stops scheduled on I-70 east of Odessa for permit work, Nov. 16

LAFAYETTE COUNTY - Permit work for utility operations will require traffic modifications on Interstate 70 near the Lafayette County Routes M and O interchange (Exit 41) on Sunday, Nov. 16, from approximately 7 a.m. until 12 p.m. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

Traffic Modifications:

• Rolling stops on I-70 eastbound from Johnson Dr. in Odessa
• Rolling stops on I-70 westbound from Missouri Highway 13
• Left lane closed on I-70 eastbound near the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
• Left lane closed on I-70 westbound near the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
• I-70 on-ramps closed at the Lafayette County Routes O & M interchange (Exit 41)
• I-70 on-ramps closed at the Lafayette County Route H interchange (Exit 45)

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
