Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with Minister of Commerce, accompanied Prime Minister to discuss with leading CEOs from Latin America

On 14 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, accompanied H.E. Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, to attend a working dinner with leading CEOs from Latin America.

The dinner was hosted at Amano Museum, a Pre-Columbian Textile Museum, in Lima by Mr. Pedro Lerner, CEO of UNACEM, a Peruvian group of companies in cement, concrete, and energy sectors. Also in attendance were Ms. Rujikorn Sangchantr, Acting Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, and Mr. Kasemsit Pathomsak, APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Member from Thailand. On this occasion, the Prime Minister reiterated Thailand's readiness to strengthen economic partnership with Latin America, particularly in creative economy, soft power, food security, clean energy, sustainable businesses and digital transition.

APEC CEOs-Leader Dinner is one of the activities organised by ABAC Peru during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week to strengthen cooperation between the public and the private sector in the Asia-Pacific Region.
