Employee of the Year 2024 awarded

Civmec is proud to recognise Shaun Digney for his outstanding achievements in 2024.

Shaun, who serves as a Refractory Tradesperson Leading Hand, played a pivotal role in developing a safer and more efficient method for removing a clean core of refractory material for examination.

Last Friday, Shaun received the prestigious "Civmec Never Assume Employee of the Year Award" for exemplifying the Civmec values of Collaboration, Innovation, and Make a Difference. His innovative method has significantly mitigated manual handling hazards and eliminated the potential for line-of-fire injuries.

The award was presented by CEO, Pat Tallon.
