February 26: City Nerd Nite x ANC Design Week "Our Winter City"

City Nerd Nite is back at the Seed Lab with Anchorage Design Week on Thursday, February 26 from 6pm - 9pm!​

At 61°N, winter in Anchorage is a season unlike any other - the snow sparkles, the air feels alive, and the city hums with light and dark. Our lineup of 7 locals each have 7 minutes to indulge the audience in their bright ideas and warm takes on Anchorage's future as a winter city, like:

  • What makes a winter city?
  • Lessons learned from bar hopping by ski
  • Building a culture of wintertime fun in East Anchorage
  • and more!​

Doors open early at 5pm for a complementary reception with fellow city nerds and neighbors as part of Anchorage Design Week 2026. Coming to the reception? Let us know!​
