Kodak Motion Picture is celebrating twenty productions shot on KODAK film at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Seven of the twenty films will compete for the Palme d'Or including Rodrigo Sorogoyen's El Ser Querido (The Beloved), Marie Kreutzer's Gentle Monster, László Nemes's Moulin, Javier Ambrossi & Javier Calvo's La Bola Negra (The Black Ball), James Gray's Paper Tiger, Hirokazu Kore-eda's Sheep in the Box & Ira Sachs's The Man I Love. Three on-film titles will be featured in Un Certain Regard with another ten shot-on-film productions across Directors' Fortnight and Critics' Week.

"It's inspiring to see such a strong representation of film again at Cannes this year," said Vanessa Bendetti, Head of Kodak Motion Picture. "The twenty on-film productions screening at the festival include twelve captured on 35mm and eight on 16mm - with three debut features including Jordan Firstman's CLUB KID, lensed by Adam Newport-Berra. And following the success of on-film productions this awards season with ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, SINNERS, and SENTIMENTAL VALUE, seven titles competing for the Palme d'Or further underscores that shooting on film differentiates. Kodak congratulates the filmmakers selected to this year's festival. We're honored to help bring your artistic vision to life."
