The Pope proposes ‘diplomacy of hope’ to members of Diplomatic Corps

Pope Francis in his new year's address to the diplomatic corps in Rome, asked, inter alia, for overcoming polarisation and fragmentation in society, for non-ideological multilateralism, for a fair solution to the Cyprus question, for a new "Helsinki spirit" to reactivate the @OSCE as a force for conflict mediation & resolution for work on a just and durable peace in Ukraine and support to the victims of the aggression for solidarity with migrants and for sustained efforts and global solidarity to address the consequences of climate change.
Ambassador Martin Selmayr and his Team Europe was present to engage with Pope Francis and the Holy See to address the geopolitical challenges of 2025.
