The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation welcomes the community to a special Open House to explore and provide input on the finalist artwork proposals for Bruce's Beach Park.
Public art is being commissioned to honor the site's history as a Black-owned resort and to promote racial justice and healing. Through a competitive Request for Qualifications process, six artists have been shortlisted to submit proposals for a large-scale, durable sculpture that will serve as a space for community connection and education.
