Discussions focused on the efforts undertaken to ensure security and stability in the region, as well as the means to strengthen Arab cooperation and coordination in order to face different current challenges.
Both ministers reviewed the evolving strong, historical, brotherly relations uniting Morocco and Bahrain, as well as the perspectives of bolstering bilateral cooperation in areas of common interests.
Talks were attended by Morocco's Ambassador to Jordan, Fouad Akhrif, Morocco's Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Mohamed Aït Ouali, along with the Ministry's director of Maghreb, Arab and Islamic Affairs, Khalid Bencheikh.
On Monday, Bourita took part in Amman in the consultative meeting to the Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and the resumption of the 165th ordinary session of the Arab League's Council at the ministerial level.
