The FedChoice Charitable Foundation honored ten outstanding high school students at its 2025 Educational Scholarship Award Ceremony, held at the FedChoice Federal Credit Union headquarters. Families, community leaders, and credit union staff gathered to recognize the scholars' achievements and celebrate their bright futures.
Brett Noll, FCF President, opened the ceremony by sharing the credit union's long-standing "people helping people" philosophy. He spoke about how the Foundation's efforts across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region create a ripple effect of positive change.
Special guests included Dr. Michael G. Caruso, representing Prince George's County Public Schools, and AJ Ricketts, Chief Credit Officer at MBL Solutions, LLC. Both shared personal stories and words of encouragement. Ricketts' generous support made it possible for the Foundation to double its scholarships this year, awarding ten $1,000 scholarships instead of five.
Sandra Park, CCUE, FCF Vice President, closed the event with an uplifting message that inspired meaningful conversations between students, families, and guests long after the formal program ended.
The ceremony wasn't just about distributing funds - it was about celebrating potential, building community, and witnessing firsthand how financial education creates pathways to success.
