Metzgar to Designate PFC Paul A. Gilbert Memorial Bridge in Jenner Township, Somerset County

WHAT: The bridge carrying Pennsylvania Route 985 over North Branch Quemahoning Creek in Jenner Township, Somerset County, will be designated as the Private First Class (PFC) Paul A. Gilbert Memorial Bridge. Gilbert, a Gray native, was killed in action on Feb. 19, 1966, in Vietnam.
WHO: Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar (R-Somerset); family members of PFC Paul A. Gilbert; and members of the community.
WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Sipesville Volunteer Fire Company Social Hall, 968 Schoolhouse Road, Sipesville.
