WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes and ramps at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen I-16 and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16, bridge work on I-95, and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange. St. Patrick's Day holiday work restrictions will be in place from Friday, March 13, 2026, at noon to Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6 a.m. No road closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this time frame.
