09/17/2026 - 5th Avenue Road Closure

Eastbound 5th Avenue Closed at Plum Street
Effective immediately, 5th Avenue, SE, east of Plum Street is closed while City staff address a road repair in the crosswalk at this location. Pedestrians are asked to avoid using the crosswalk during the closure. All surrounding sidewalks will remain open.

Repair work will begin tomorrow, September 18, 2026. At this time, we don't have an anticipated completion date. Businesses located on this section of 5th Avenue can be accessed from Pear Street. Access to Salvation Army will not be affected.

Please obey all traffic control and use caution when traveling in the area.
