2026 Klement Lecture with Dr. Serena Zabin, Apr. 13

The Department of History will host the annual Professor Frank L. Klement Lecture on Monday, Apr. 13, at 4:30 p.m. in the Raynor Library Beaumier Suites.

This year's lecture will be given by Dr. Serena Zabin, Stephen R. Lewis, Jr. Professor of History and the Liberal Arts at Carleton College. She will discuss property, uncertainty and freedom in the 1776 evacuation of Boston.

A past president of the Society for Historians of the Early American Republic, Zabin is the author of numerous works on early America, most notably the multi-award-winning "The Boston Massacre: A Family History" (2020).
