At today's session, the government adopted several documents necessary for the work of state institutions, including the Decision on determining agricultural products from sectors in which it is mandatory to conclude contracts between agricultural producers and processors or purchasers.
The aim of this measure is to regulate market relations, greater legal certainty for agricultural producers and ensure more transparent and stable business conditions in the agricultural and agri-food sector.
The decision stipulates that written contracts must be concluded for every delivery of agricultural products in the cereals sector, the fruit and vegetables sector, and the fruit and vegetable processing sector.
The conclusion of written contracts is also necessary in the beef and veal sector for livestock intended for slaughter, in the milk and dairy products sector, namely for raw cow's, sheep's and goat's milk, as well as in the pork sector for live pigs intended for slaughter.
The decision also provides for the conclusion of contracts for the purchase of natural honey and beekeeping products, as well as for the purchase of commercial potatoes.
The session adopted the Decree establishing the Water Management Programme for 2026, which relates to planning the continuation of works launched in the previous year - continued financing of the construction of the Arilje dam with a reservoir - the Svračkovo profile, financing of activities necessary for continuing the construction of the Selova dam with a reservoir, financing of works on the construction and reconstruction of water facilities for drinking water supply and sanitary and hygienic purposes, drinking water treatment plants, main pipelines and reservoirs with associated equipment, water facilities that that do not belong to regional water supply systems for the aforementioned facilities, and other activities.
Members of the government adopted the amended Decision on the temporary ban on the export of crude oil and oil derivatives, which exempts liquefied petroleum gas (propane, butane, propane-butane mixture and autogas) from the temporary export ban regime.
