Taft Moves up Four Spots on Chicago Lawyer 2026 Largest Law Firms List

Taft was recognized as the 12th largest law firm in the city in Chicago Lawyer magazine's 2026 Largest Law Firms list with 179 attorneys. The firm expanded its Chicago presence by adding 24 attorneys in the areas of business, intellectual property, litigation, environmental, private client, real estate, and tax, increasing its headcount by 14% over the previous year.
