New Poll From DGA-Backed Group Shows Aaron Ford Leading Joe Lombardo in Nevada Governor's Race

Poll finds Ford leading Lombardo 49-45, Lombardo and Trump underwater

A new poll from DGA-backed A More Affordable Nevada found Attorney General Aaron Ford leading Joe Lombardo, the most vulnerable governor in the country, 49 to 45 percent in the Nevada governor's race.

The poll shows Donald Trump's favorability is -18, a massive vulnerability for Lombardo, who called Trump his "commanding officer" and has backed Trump's cost-raising agenda every step of the way - including telling Nevadans to "feel a little pain" from tariffs and embracing Trump's Iran war that has sent fuel costs to all-time highs across the state.

Notably, Lombardo started the summer with positive favorability, but now he's underwater -10 as the Lombardo-Trump economy decimates tourism, kills jobs, and jacks up costs on everything from gas and groceries to housing and health care.

"Aaron Ford has clear momentum heading into the final week of this election as he runs on a clear message of lowering costs and standing up to Joe Lombardo and Donald Trump's cost-raising agenda," said DGA Deputy Communications Director Johanna Warshaw. "Lombardo has stood lockstep with his 'commanding officer' Donald Trump and now Nevadans are feeling the pain that he promised everyday under the Lombardo-Trump economy - and that's why he will be a one term governor."

The poll was conducted by Hart Research (Oct. 20-25; 950 LVs; +/-3.5%).
