Second Annual Cambridge Porchfest Taking Place This Weekend
The second annual Cambridge Porchfest is taking place this weekend -- July 11 and 12, 2026! Cambridge Porchfest is a free, walkable, community musical event. Neighbors host musicians on their porches, in their yards or driveways, with the idea that anyone can come by and check them out.
This is an event where neighborhood porches, driveways and parks transform into stages.
On Saturday, July 11, Porchfest will take place from 12 to 6 p.m. in Cambridgeport (with Cambridgeport Neighborhood Association), Port, and Riverside neighborhoods.
On Sunday, July 12, it will run from 12 to 6 p.m. in Central Square and Harvard Square.
Cambridge Porchfest is presented by Cambridge Arts in partnership with the Central Square Business Improvement District and Harvard Square Business Association.
A lot of nearby towns host porchfests - Somerville, Brookline, Jamaica Plain, Watertown, and others. In 2025, Cambridge launched its first Porchfest in the Cambridgeport neighborhood just south of Central Square. There were more than 80 performers at 25 locations.
