TABU CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER INAUGURATED

Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson led the inauguration and blessing of the newly-constructed Tabu Child Development Center in Barangay Tabu, Municipality of Ilog on September 10.

Joining the Governor in the ceremony were Sixth District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola, Mayor John Paul Alvarez, and representatives from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and barangay officials.

The event gathered teachers, parents, and young learners, who welcomed the new facility that will serve as a safe and nurturing space for early childhood learning and development in the community.

Gov. Lacson underscored the importance of investing in child development facilities, stressing that these centers provide the foundation for lifelong learning and holistic growth among children. He also thanked the local government of Ilog and the MSWDO for their partnership and support in making the project possible.

Mayor Alvarez, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government for prioritizing education and child welfare in the barangays, adding that the new center will greatly benefit families in Tabu and nearby communities.

The establishment of the Tabu Child Development Center forms part of the Provincial Government's continuing efforts to improve access to quality education and social services, especially in far-flung areas of Negros Occidental.*
