Oconee Drugs offers workplace flu shot clinics for local employers
Athens, Ga. (September 10, 2026)- Oconee Drugs, a retail pharmacy of Piedmont Athens Regional, is helping workplaces keep their employees healthy this flu season by offering convenient on-site flu shot clinics.
The Oconee Drugs pharmacy team will travel to local workplaces, allowing employers to choose the date and time that works best for their staff. There is no cost for the business to host a clinic, and no minimum number of participants is required. Employees can pre-register or just walk-in to receive a vaccine.
"Making preventive care convenient helps more people stay healthy," said Jen Wrenn, a pharmacist and pharmacy manager at Oconee Drugs. "By bringing vaccinations directly to the workplace, we're making it easier for employees to get their flu shot and protect themselves and their families during flu season."
Most insurance plans cover flu vaccinations with a $0 copay, and Oconee Drugs handles insurance billing. Flu shots are available for $30 for uninsured individuals.
In addition to flu vaccines, Oconee Drugs can offer shingles, pneumonia, RSV and Tdap vaccinations during workplace clinics.
