Nations will, therefore, converge at the upcoming 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, between November 11 and 22, 2024, to layout new policy implementations.[1] In the wake of increasing environmental degradation, this conference appears as an important turning point where humankind must act as a collective and address the climate change issues with a sense of urgency.
