Governor Polis Updates Effective Date of David K. Ottman’s Appointment to the 6th Judicial District Court
This appointment will now take effect on September 30, 2026, rather than January 13, 2027
DENVER - On September 10, 2026 Governor Polis appointed David K. Ottman to the 6th Judicial District Court to fill a vacancy created by the Honorable Anthony Baca not standing for retention. This appointment was originally set to be effective January 13, 2027. Since Governor Polis made this appointment, Judge Baca has determined that his last day with the 6th Judicial District Court will be on September 30, 2026. David Ottman's appointment will now be effective September 30, 2026.
