City to host Career Connect hiring event Feb. 21

The North Port Economic Development Division will host its next Career Connect hiring event on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way. The event will bring local employers and jobseekers together for networking and on-the-spot hiring opportunities.

Jobseekers are encouraged to bring updated resumes, dress for success and be prepared to meet with employers from a variety of industries in and around North Port. No pre-registration is required for attendees.

Employers participating in the event will have the opportunity to meet local talent, share information about open positions and connect with other businesses in the area.
