On February 13, 2026, H.E. Mr. Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, President of the Human Rights Council, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Ambassador Jia Guide stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Indonesia relations have maintained a strong momentum of development, with fruitful cooperation in bilateral and multilateral fields. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HRC, and its 61st session is about to be held. China supports you in successfully fulfilling the role of the HRC President, and stands ready to strengthen communication and cooperation with Indonesia on the multilateral platforms in Geneva to jointly uphold multilateralism.

Ambassador Suryodipuro welcomed Ambassador Jia on assuming his new post and thanked China for supporting his work as the HRC President. He emphasized that Indonesia attaches great importance to its relations with China and looks forward to close coordination on multilateral platforms, firmly supporting multilateralism, safeguarding common interests, and jointly addressing global challenges.
