Alley Closure - Between Minnesota Avenue and Dakota Avenue

Beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, the alley behind Fire Station One, located between Minnesota Avenue and Dakota Avenue and Ninth Street and Tenth Street, will be closed to allow a contractor to perform repairs.

This project will include retaining wall repairs and alley pavement repairs.

Weather permitting, work is anticipated to be completed by mid-October.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane and Sidewalk Closures - Cleveland Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, southbound traffic of North Cleveland Avenue between Madison Street and Rice Street will be shifted to the center left turn lane, and the west sidewalk will be closed.

Xcel Energy will be doing utility work.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on July 17, 2026.
