ICANN GNSO Seeks Input on DNS Abuse Mitigation PDP 1 Initial Report

Today, the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced it is seeking Public Comment on an initial report from the Domain Name System (DNS) Abuse Mitigation Policy Development Process (PDP) 1.

The Initial Report for Public Comment consists of eight Preliminary Recommendations and five Implementation Guidances and is mainly focused on associated domain checks, which would require registrars to investigate domains linked to actionable evidence of DNS Abuse.
