Through performances and competitions, students build confidence, leadership skills, and pride in their heritage. For many, the program is more than music - it's a way to honor family traditions while shaping their future.

Families invited to attend Fam Jam
Dallas ISD families are invited to join the fun during a Fam Jam event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 28, at Thelma Elizabeth Page Richardson Elementary School. This event will feature free health screenings, immunizations, and resources to support students and families. With prizes, activities, and community connections, Fam Jam is all about bringing families, schools, and communities together.

Dallas ISD highlights student talent during Youth Art Month
Dallas ISD is celebrating National Youth Art Month with an exhibition at SPARK! Dallas from March 27 to 29, featuring more than 200 pieces of student artwork from 100 campuses. The showcase highlights the creativity and innovation happening in visual arts classrooms across the district. Select students, including artists from Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy, will also advance to the Texas Elementary Art Meet, representing Dallas ISD at the state level.
