Help shape the future of Witchcliffe

The draft Witchcliffe Streetscape Plan and Village Centre Character Controls provide a coordinated approach to enhancing the feel of the main street, Redgate Road, surrounding open spaces, and commercial areas.

Together, they set a clear direction for future upgrades and development that respects the village's established identity and supports a vibrant local centre whilst taking into account the outcomes of the Witchcliffe Character Study.

The final Witchcliffe Streetscape Plan has been amended in response to community feedback, the outcomes of the RAC activation trial, and changes in Witchcliffe since 2023.

To complement the Streetscape Plan, we've also developed Village Centre Character Controls for privately owned commercial properties in Witchcliffe. These will support cohesive character, buildings, and development outcomes that respect the town's unique character as properties on the main street are redeveloped.

We're now asking the Witchy community to let us know if we've got it right.

Community members are invited to meet with staff to discuss the plans at the community drop-in sessions at Druids Hall on:

• Wednesday 6 May 5pm to 7pm
• Wednesday 13 May 9am to 11am
