Traffic Advisory - Palm Shores Boulevard Closure Overnight Jan. 14-15

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2026) - Please be advised that Palm Shores Boulevard will be closed overnight starting Wednesday, Jan.14, through Thursday, Jan. 15 for necessary railroad repair work.

Closure Hours:

9 p.m.-4 a.m. Subject to change depending on construction progress and site conditions.

During this time, there will be no through access, and no alternate routes are available due to the location of the railroad crossing. All travel through this area must be completed before the closure begins.

Residents and drivers should plan ahead, as crews will not be able to allow vehicles through once work is underway. These repairs are essential to ensure the long-term safety and reliability of the railway and roadway.
