The Portland Police Bureau is requesting the public's help in locating a missing endangered man.

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a residence near Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest Salmon Street on reports of a missing person. Officers determined 84-year-old Jesus Olivares-Rojas left his residence on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., and he has not been seen since.

Detectives are concerned about Jesus because he is showing signs of dementia, and he has never stayed away from his residence overnight.

Jesus is described as a Hispanic male, 5'11", and 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing black pants, a dark zip-up jacket, a light-colored khaki hat, glasses, and tan shoes. Jesus uses a walker and is familiar with Trimet.

Anyone who sees Jesus is urged to call 911. Anyone with information that is not time sensitive is asked to contact detectives at [email protected] and reference case number 25-212738.
