LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 1 through June 5. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUTNY
Route F between U.S. Route 50 and Al Gosset Rd.: flagging operations on Thursday, June 4, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route OO between Missouri Route 13 and Route M: flagging operations from Monday, June 1 until Thursday, June 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement overlay work.
50 Hwy eastbound and westbound between Route 13 and Route FF: various lane closures from Monday, June 1 until Thursday, June 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
50 Hwy westbound from Route FF to Route D: lane closure on Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement replacement.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route T between 50 Hwy and Route D: flagging operations on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
Route MM between 50 Hwy and end of state maintenance: flagging operations on Wednesday, June 3 until Thursday, June 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
SALINE COUNTY
Missouri Route 41 south between Missouri Route 240 and Cooper Co. line: flagging operations from Monday, June 1 until Tuesday, June 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
Route 240 between Route 41 and Glasgow: flagging operations from Wednesday, June 3 until Thursday, June 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
MoDOT maintenance crews often perform other tasks throughout the work week such as pothole patching, litter pick-up, sign repairs, brush cutting, and other operations that are not included above as they pose limited impacts to traffic.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
