Kayla Sharrow, RN, Named Colleague of the Month at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital

Kayla Sharrow, RN, in Surgery at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, has been named September Colleague of the Month.

Sharrow was recognized for her clinical expertise, leadership and commitment to patients and colleagues in the operating room. Known for her knowledge across multiple surgical specialties, she serves as a preceptor for new employees, helping them build confidence and skills while maintaining a calm, supportive environment.

Colleagues say Sharrow is a trusted resource who is always willing to step in and help wherever needed. After returning to the operating room, she quickly resumed her role as a mentor and patient advocate, providing reassurance to patients before surgery and supporting team members throughout the day.
