Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Cairo on Wednesday, for an official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
The visit's agenda encompasses two distinct dimensions: a bilateral dimension bearing on the state of Algerian-Egyptian relations and a trilateral track addressing the Libyan crisis.
Regarding the bilateral dimension, Attaf will hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, and is set to meet with the senior authorities of the sisterly country.
Attaf will also take part in the ministerial meeting of the Algerian-Egyptian-Tunisian consultation mechanism on Libya, alongside the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, and the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti.
